New series. Our studio guest on Bookmark this week is aviation writer, Rowland White. His first book, Vulcan 607 centring around the Falklands conflict was published in 2006, followed by Phoenix Squadron, and then Storm Front, about the Dhofar War in Oman. All three were Sunday Times Top 10 bestsellers. His latest, Into The Black, is about the first flight of the space shuttle and he is also author of The Big Book of Flight. We also chat to childrens’ author Helen Moss on how to write a mystery for eight-year-olds. And Laura Robson Brown and Katherine Mann tell us what inspired them to write the stories of Fitz and Will, the Cambridge cats.
