Rachel runs the prestigious Sayle Literary Agency based in Cambridge which counts Annie Proulx and Billy Bragg among its varied list of authors. She’ll be talking about what she looks for in a manuscript and how she knows when she’s found it, as well as reflecting on the effects of e-books and self-publishing. There are also interviews with local historian and writer, Louise Foxcroft, talking about her book The Irish Pasha, an exploration of the life of Pum Gayer Anderson, a true early twentieth century eccentric.
