14:00 - 16:00 Greg's Afternoon Record Club
Greg presents two hours of afternoon entertainment and invites his guests to dig deep into their cupboards and bring out their favourite vinyl records into the studio and discuss why they like them.
On this week's Record Club Greg is Joined by lead singer of Cambridge Rock Supergroup "Jack" - Roger Smith
Roger has performed in many countries across Europe, USA and the far East to audiences of a handful to many thousands and still loves it. Likes to think he is a "singer" rather than a "vocalist" and his favourite "singers" include "Elvis", "Paul Rogers" and "Nat King Cole"!! A romantic side........I wonder?
Roger loves the blues mainly because it has "soul" and because it spans early Elvis to Led Zep and all stops from Memphis to Chicago... So it should be an interesting show!
As usual between the records - Greg will be shouting out some of the what's on gigs in Cambridge - so if you have a gig coming up make sure you send us the details - publicity@cambridge105.fm ! Programme Website
