Women Making Waves: Rania Kurdi and Patricia Gregory

The fortnightly show talks to Patricia Gregory who, while watching football with her father over 50 years ago, became instrumental in setting up the Women’s Football Association. We also meet Jordanian-British comedy actress Rania Kurdi (pictured), who not only acts, but has topped the Arab pop music charts. Presented by Linda Ness & Suzie Thorpe.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
