Over the past few weeks, Shelford Rugby Club has been home to a new competition – Walking Rugby.
The sessions take place every Tuesday evening with the average age of attendees sitting at just over 70. The sessions are completely free and open to men and women of all ages, no prior experience necessary.
A good cause of getting more elderly/less-mobile people active in sport and helps them stay fit, keep their brains active and releases endorphins which help keep spirits high.
