The Science Show 19/05/2012 – Dr William Hirst and the words of science plus Making chocolate

Nicola Terry visits local chocolatier Cheryl Brighty of Artistry in Cocoa, to learn how chocolate is made from a cocoa pod (www.artistryincocoa.co.uk). Her interest of course, was purely scientific but some accidental eating in the lab did occur. Dr Hirst is the author of a science dictionary for ages 10 -14 called “William’s Words in Science” (www.williamswords.co.uk)

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
