Kipper, Greg and Darren are once more joined by Mildenhall based 78s expert Joe Moore – this time to play some of the highlights from the collection of the late Roy Poynter.
Roy was an avid Collector of 78s for over 40 years., and amassed over 1500 records featuring dance bands, Jazz, perosnality records and a dazzling array of 78s. on more unusual and harder to find british labels. such as metropole and the purple label R3000 Parlophone 78s.
With extra information about Roy’s collection sent to the show from his daughter Barbara this will be an interesting insight into another great collector – sadly no longer with us.
