Helicopter pilots Dan Mercer and Duncan Bickley, both passionate blood donors from Cambridge, are flying around the entire coastline of Great Britain, covering nearly 3000 miles in 8-10 days stopping off at a variety of popular locations, to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, and to recruit new donors. Dan and Duncan will depart from the helipad at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge on World Blood Donor Day, Friday 14th June.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
