Suzie’s guest was Bob Jarman, who has news about Cambridge Natural History Society’s current project, looking at past, present and future records. Bob spoke to Suzie about why one of the most interesting records is that of the rare Moustached Warbler that has only ever been spotted in the UK in 1946 on the over-grown gravel pits that are now the site of the new Cambridge North railway station.
Securing the future of Community Radio
Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.
Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
