On Saturday, a protest was held on Cambridge’s Christs Pieces by the EDL (English Defence League) and a rally through the streets of Cambridge by the UAF (Unite Against Fascism).
Cambridge 105’s Matt Webb spoke to Cambridge MP Julian Huppert, who participated in the UAF march. Dr Huppert was asked about why he took part in the UAF rally and how he felt the day had panned out.
Matt also spoke to Superintendent Vicky Skeels, the Cambridge City Police Commander, about the Police’s involvement in the security operation during the day.
