This month, a review of Richard Goldstein’s incredibly interesting book Another Little Piece of My Heart. He knew everyone, great friends with Janis Joplin, Paul Simon, Velvet Underground played at his wedding! An original thinker, he convincingly criticised Sgt Pepper as a backward step for the Beatles, castigated Timothy Leary for his ignorance of the impact of race and culture on LSD experiences. His book brings together the music and radical politics of the late 60s. We play the music that goes with it too. Hosted by Alan Alder
Securing the future of Community Radio
Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.
Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
You can support Cambridge 105 Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
