Paul Christoforou is joined by broadcaster Nick Barraclough.

Nick, who was born in Cambridge is best known for hosting shows related to specialist American music. He presented the long-running Nick Barraclough’s New Country show for BBC Radio 2 between 1992 and 2007 and Smooth Country for the Smooth Radio network, from 2007 to 2008. He has also hosted programmes on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

He tells Paul about his career as a broadcaster and about his passion for music.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
