Community radio station Cambridge 105 is throwing open its doors this weekend and inviting anyone interested in the station to take a look round.
The studios, located in the Gwydir Street Enterprise Centre*, will be open between midday and 4pm on Saturday December 21st, where some of your favourite presenters will be there to greet you.
Whether you want to get involved in community radio or want to find out how to get your organization on the air you can be sure of a warm welcome.
To help you unwind in this busy Christmas period we’ll make sure there are plentiful supplies of tea, coffee and mince pies.
Hands on activities include the recording of personal Christmas greetings for a loved one to be played out in the run up to Christmas Day, an opportunity to read the news and a chance to explore our outside broadcast unit Flossie who will be parked outside.
It’s also a chance to hear your views on the station, the music we play, and the people and organisations that feature.
Station Manager Tim Willett said: “As a community station we pride ourselves on being closer to the community, through our daytime output or the many specialist shows that Cambridge 105 broadcasts at evenings and weekends.”
