New Music Generator: Polar Collective, Tom Korni & Rachel Clark

Tim Willett presents the flagship show for local and unsigned music and welcomes three guests live into the studio. The show kicks off with Jake, Adam, Ally and Gryph aka Polar Collective who catch up on the whirlwind year they’ve been having and perform three acoustic songs live. Cambridge Has Talent competition winner for 2013 Tom Korni, known as ‘the one boy band’ is next up and also performs live. There’s a quick run down of this week’s Unsigned Chart as Screen People stay at the top for a third consecutive week and the final guest is singer song writer Rachel Clark who chats about her upcoming EP release and also plays live.

Also includes highlights of the Cambridge 105 NMG Stage from the Cambridge Rock Festival including 4th Labyrinth, 28 Boulevard, The Abstracts and The Simpletone.

The next programme airs on 20th August 2014

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
