When the second national lockdown hit, many local footballers, past and present, were at a loose end. So, Ollie Slack set up a video call with a number of them to reflect on their lives in football, including their earliest memories, untold stories and magical moments.

This episode sees Cambridge City assistant coach and former player Neil Midgley discuss growing up in Cambridge, watching racism on TV and being managed by England legend Paul Gascoigne for just 39 fun-filled days at Kettering Town.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
