Making Mental Notes 17/02/2013

The programme will focus on recovery from mental health.

Recovery College East is a new initiative launched by Cambridge and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) and we will be joined by Tracey Tingey from CPFT to talk about the purpose of the college, the courses available and how she is involved.

Lifecraft in Cambridge will be delivering a course as part of Recovery College East and we are joined by Nathan to talk about the course and also Bev Woolmer who will be talking generally about recovery and the project ‘Shame No More’.

Also on the show we will have music by Keltrix and Squeaky Gate, poetry by Matthew Barker and Vicky McWilliams and two film reviews by Astrid.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
