Leigh’s guests on Friday join her to discuss the Young Parents Programme run by the Cambridge 105 Charity of the Month, Romsey Mill. Judith Cork, a Young Parents Work, talks about how the Programme offers emotional and practical help to parents as young as 19 years old. She is joined by Ashleigh who had twins at 18 and was supported by the Programme to care for her children and improve her self-esteem.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
