Gavin Richards speaks to Ivy Mitchell

While other kids of her age are glued to their games, nine year old Ivy Mitchell has started early on her ambition to become a published author. Ivy, who attends Castle Camps Church of England Primary School, wrote her children’s book, Panda Party, when she was just eight years of age after winning a competition at School. She came into Cambridge Radio to tell Gavin Richards about her book.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
