From the Terraces: U’s tame the Shrews again, manager cameo at City, triumph for Histon

Scotty McGeorge, Tim Armitage and Matt Lockwood analyse the weekend’s football and discuss whether Cambridge United could still make another great escape following their victory over Shrewsbury Town on Saturday. Sean Coxon also joins live to discuss the latest news at Cambridge City who themselves were beaten by Ipswich Wanderers in a game which saw manager Jamie Cureton lace his boots up again at the age of 49. Histon’s play-off push might have faltered, but they did beat Oadby Town 3-1 and manager Chris Nunn shares his thoughts.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
