The Cambridge Buskers Festival
Saturday June 7–Sunday June 8
The sound of guitars, accordions, cajons, tambourines, and voices will be heard across Cambridge this summer.
On the weekend of 7th-8th June, the Cambridge Buskers Festival will take place at some of the city’s leading music venues, each of which will host a rota of buskers throughout the day.
Cambridge Busker’s Festival began on the streets of Cambridge in 2008, but in recent years has become the Busker’s Showcase Stage at Strawberry Fair on Midsummer Common.
100 acts, 12 city venues 280 plus performances. Venues include The Tram Depot, The Six Six, The Haymakers, The Salisbury Arms, The Alexandra Arms, The Cambridge, The Portland Arms and The Grain and Hop Store. Consult individual venues for details.
What’s Ons are broadcast across the day at 7.50, 10.30, 1.30 and 4.30, and at weekends.
