Sundays at Ipswich Transport Museum
Sunday July 7–Sunday July 28
The Ipswich Transport Museum, the modern-day Aladdin’s Cave. situated in the Old Trolleybus Depot on Cobham Road, Ipswich, IP3 9JD, will be open in July every Sunday from 11am until 4pm.
At the Museum there zre about 100 major exhibits, almost all of which were manufactured and or operated in Ipswich, these include lorries, fire engines, ambulances, electric vehicles, bicycles, and a wide selection of grass cutting machines and horse drawn vehicles.
Current restorations include a Bedford WLB bus, a Daimler funeral hearse, ex Ipswich single deck Ransomes trolleybus and a Tilling Stevens double deck motor bus
There is a well-stocked gift shop and the Sunbeam tea room serving hot and cold snacks and beverages.
