RANT – at Stapleford Granary – Outdoor Concert

One of Scotland’s finest folk groups, RANT use only their fiddles to weave a tapestry of textures, sounds and musical colour, drawing on old reels, jigs and strathspeys alongside their own compositions. Since the release of their debut album in 2013, the band have made major festival and concert appearances across the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. They provided strings for Julie Fowlis’ Gach Sguel album, and their music has been used for both BBC and ITV national television programmes. RANT is touring extensively in 2024 to release their fourth album, SPIN, a bold, ambitious and reflective collection which draws on influential tracks from their formative years; nostalgic with a fresh, energised approach synonymous with the band’s well-established sound.
