Mill Road Winter Fair

Saturday December 6

Every year, on the first Saturday of December, we celebrate the amazing community of the Mill Road area. This year will celebrate 20 years since the first Fair in 2005! There will be a huge range of activities to discover throughout the day; it’s going to be the best Fair yet!

Be sure to come early so that you don’t miss out! The fire engine pull, opening ceremony and parade are all in the morning, as well as lots of amazing stalls, performance and events.

Here’s a quick summary of what you can find where:

Food and drink from around the world. Enjoy something delicious at food stalls, cafés and venues all along Mill Road or visit the Food Fair in Gwydir Street Car Park.

Fantastic live music and performance. With the main music stages at Donkey Common, Ditchburn Gardens, St Barnabas Church, Argyle Street Housing Co-op, St Philip’s Church and at the corner of Thoday Street, plus many busking spots along the street, there’s something for everyone.

Local arts, crafts and goodies. Enjoy browsing stalls all along the street, with even more at Donkey Common, Petersfield Green, Ditchburn Gardens and Headly Street. Work from local artists is on display at the Six Bells, David Parr House, Cambridge Design Rooms, St Barnabas Centre, Romsey Mill and various Open Studios off Mill Road.
