Mill Road Winter Fair returns on Saturday, 1st December!
Mill Road Winter Fair is a celebration of community along one of the most diverse and vibrant roads in Cambridge. Usually held on the first Saturday of December, the Fair brings together local businesses and organisations, shops and stall-holders, musicians, artists and dancers in one day of festival joy.
Featuring craft and charity stalls, buskers and a fabulous ‘street’ of community bunting, at Donkey Common (outside Parkside Swimming Pool) and Petersfield opposite, with lines of community bunting at The Edge Café also marking the Romsey gateway to Mill Road.
Cambridge 105 Radio will be broadcasting live from Mill Road throughout the day. Join us for live music and entertainment from outside the former Tesco Express.
Mill Road is closed to all motor traffic from its junction with East Road to the Coleridge Road junction, during the fair. Stagecoach’s citi2 service diverts via East Road, Newmarket Road, Coldhams Lane and Brooks Road and loads of stalls appear, with a huge variety of goods, crafts, food and gifts.
What’s Ons are broadcast across the day at 7.50, 10.30, 1.30 and 4.30, and at weekends.
