
Island – an Oratorio

In the first half the wonderful Suite in G from Handel’s Water Music will be followed by John Rutter’s The Sprig of Thyme – a glowing collection of English Folk songs for choir and orchestra.
Island is the main post-interval work: a narrated story with children’s chorus, adult chorus, and soloists.

KJV is a local children’s choir for boys and girls from across Cambridgeshire. We rehearse each Saturday morning. Participation is free for 7-12 year olds and a modest termly fee is charged for our older groups, except for anyone on free-school meals.
