From one of the fathers of Minimalism, Steve Reich, to the acclaimed Bang on a Can member, Julia Wolfe, to one of her pupils and a star of the current generation, Andy Akiho. Colin Currie Group showcase three generations of New York percussion with Reich’s hypnotic melodic and rhythmic patterns inspiring the Big Apple energy of Wolfe and Akiho.
