Chesterton Festival
Saturday June 21–11:30–16:30
Chesterton Festival is a community festival in Chesterton, Cambridge, run each year by volunteers from the local community.
The Festival will take place on Pye’s Recreation Ground as usual, and will run from 12 noon to 4.30pm.
In addition to a wide range of stalls offering goods for sale and information, we will have at least five different food providers offering refreshments.
The Fun Zone will cater for younger children and teenagers and will include
- a pirate play zone
- a gorilla climb and sweeper
- a rainbow box bouncy castle
- table tennis
Entry to the Fun Zone will be free.
From 12noon to 4pm there will be a variety of acts on the arena stage, ably hosted by Jez0. Acts will include:
12.00 Chesterton Community College including the Samba Band, Folk Fiddle Band and a Jazz Band
13.30 Baque Trovao
14.00 The Buckleton Belly Dance School
14.30 Jez0’s Magic Show
15.30 Helix A Capella
14.00 Tug of War

What’s Ons are broadcast across the day at 7.50, 10.30, 1.30 and 4.30, and at weekends.
