Cambridge Folk Club – Songwriters’ Circle

Friday October 27, 2023

Taking place at The Golden Hind, Milton Road, Cambridge and starting at 8.00 pm.

October 27th: Songwriter’s circle evening with Tennessee Twin; Daisy Chute; Shea Rafferty; Georgia Nevada.

Daisy Chute: an American-Scottish folk singer and songwriter and banjo-wielding multi-instrumentalist, Daisy’s musical roots are born out of her transatlantic heritage. She writes award-winning intelligent songs with stories, performing them with spine-tingling vocals and intricate instrumentation.

Shea Rafferty: Since his highly-acclaimed second album, ‘Making History’, was released in September 2022, Shea has performed at the British Country Music Festival and other venues countrywide.

Georgia Nevada: A force to be reckoned with on the UK Southern Rock and Americana scenes, Georgia has racked up four chart-topping singles, and a ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ nomination at the 2021 British Country Music Awards. She has since gone on to astound audiences at headline shows and festivals across the country with her Southern Rock charm and power.

Tennessee Twin: Geoff and Victoria are an award-winning Cambridge-based acoustic duo, whose lyrically honest and musically melodic songs span the emotional spectrum, blending modern country, folk and Americana. Their debut EP Tips in a Jar (2019) went straight into the iTunes UK Country Chart at No 1.
