British Pop Art Exhibition
Sunday November 24, 2024–Saturday February 1, 2025
The acclaimed Goldmark Gallery has teamed up with Cambridge Charity ArtSpace 5-7 Portugal Place. Together they will stage an exciting exhibition of trailblazing British Pop Art at the city’s iconic modernist building and exhibition space.
The show will feature vibrant pieces from renowned British artists such as Eduardo Paolozzi, Patrick Caulfield, Joe Tilson, Peter Blake, Richard Hamilton, Allen Jones, RB Kitaj, and Michael Rothenstein. The exhibition opens to the public on Sunday 24 November and will then run on Thursdays and Saturdays thereafter and by appointment into February. Admission is free. Those bowled over by British Pop will be able to buy the works by visiting the gallery in person or going online at goldmarkart.com/britishpop
At the heart of the exhibition is an extraordinary collection of works by Eduardo Paolozzi, one of the original Pop Artists, and members of the 1950’s Independent Group.
