Author’s Evening at Waterstones- The Story of Pompeii

Join Waterstones Cambridge on Wednesday 29 April from 6pm for an immersive and ground-breaking exploration of the final day in the fated city of Pompeii through the lives of seven citizens from the most exciting new name in ancient history, Dr Jess Venner.
Dr Jess Venner is an award-winning ancient historian and archaeologist, recipient of the prestigious Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship (University of Oxford) and the Rome Award (BSR), and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, amongst other academic posts.
The event will take place at Waterstones Cambridge, 22 Sidney Street, Cambridge, CB2 3HG. Tickets are £8 for General Admission, £5 for Waterstones Loyalty Cardholders, and book and ticket options are available.
