The Voyage
Saturday March 9
£5.00 – £12.00The Perse Prep and Upper Schools join forces with pupils from St. Alban’s Catholic Primary, Bellbird Primary, St. Paul’s Primary and Teversham Primary Schools to perform The Voyage, a beautiful, evocative piece with words by Charles Bennett and music by Bob Chilcott. Featuring live instrumentation, artwork and dance, this will be a journey like no other!
Set sail through oceans calm and stormy, dive down to the mysterious Court of Neptune, soar with the seagulls, and have an awesome day at the beach!
The Voyage was commissioned in 2016 by Age UK, and you will be supporting the great work of this charity through ticket sales and a retiring collection.
Concert 1 (11.30-12.30) will feature The Perse Upper, Friends of Perse, Perse Prep and St. Alban’s choirs.
Concert 2 (15.00-16.00) will feature The Perse Upper, Friends of Perse, St. Paul’s, Bellbird and Teversham choirs.
Each performance will last one hour without interval. There will be no bar at either performance.
£12 (full) / £7 (code) / £5 (concessions). Concessions: 18 or under, 60 or above, wheelchair user plus companion.
