The Eclectic Light Show marks the 40th anniversary of the death of folk-rock star Sandy Denny in a special documentary in which many members of the folk-rock movement talk about knowing and working with Sandy and their thoughts on her tragic death in 1978. And Nicola Upson features Mandy’s Magic Lady album, released in the same year as Sandy Denny’s death and dedicated to her, tracing the motivations and discussing the changing music scene of the time and Mandy’s memories of writing and performing the Magic Lady album and the personal effect of Denny’s death on her music.
