From the December edition of Cambridge 105 Radio’s monthly programme for classical music enthusiasts, Tony Barnfield plays tracks from the new CD Ben Parry: Music for Christmas and catches a word or two with the composer in the Durham offices of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, where he is Artistic Director, alongside several other roles, including Assistant Director of Music at King’s College, Cambridge.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
