Cambridge 105 reveals new daytime schedule

105 TeamCambridge 105 has released details of its 2013 schedule that take effect on Monday January 7th. It follows the announcement of the new 105 Breakfast with Tim & Lottie and 105 Drive with Julian Clover that launch the same day.

Cambridge 105 broadcasts more local hours than any other station in the city.

Joining the station is Brian O’Reilly, one of the most familiar voices on radio in Cambridge, who will present Monday and Wednesday mid-mornings from 9.30am to 12 midday. Brian will also host a new monthly music show O’Reilly Country.

In addition to his Tuesday and Thursday mid-morning programmes, Kevin Peters will present a new Saturday morning show between 10am and 12 midday.

Former mid-morning presenter Glenn Jones brings his own inimitable style to a new afternoon show on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm.

On Sunday mornings Sunday Breakfast with new presenter Phil Rowe will be followed at 11am by John Gannon’s 60s Scene as we look back to a golden decade of music.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
