Bums On Seats 29/09/2012

Post Cambridge Film Festival the show catches up with some of the newest cinema releases.

Bruce Willis is hunted by his younger self in Rian Johnson’s remarkable time travel adventure LOOPER, whilst violent thriller KILLING THEM SOFTLY finds Brad Pitt as a mournful mob hit man. A boy’s ability to converse with the dead may be the saving of his town in the stop motion PARANORMAN, and cinema itself is perhaps the subject of Leos Carax’s dreamlike, sinister and strange HOLY MOTORS. Plus we’ll also have an interview with director Mat Whitehouse, who debuted his genre bending drama ASHES on the final day of the Film Festival.

Toby Miller is host, with regular reviewers Emma Marchant, Catherine Kemp, Simon West and Dave Riley.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
