Six reviewers countdown the 12 films that Bums On Seats feels were the highlights of the year. Will bruising French drama battle off superheroes? How did Bela Tarr fare against Ted? Is there a place for the Dardenne’s, the Berberians, the Hobbitses, the many McConaugheys, the multiple Lavant’s or the Princess Of Mars?

Toby Miller is host, with reviewers Jenny Colley, Simon West, Jim Ross, Dave Riley, Mark Liversidge and Owen Baker on hand to voice their opinion of why each chosen film deserves to celebrated.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
