Today’s show is a real globetrotter, as in a space of an hour we visit a magical kingdom, the canyons of the mind, the near future, the Florida Bayou and the roof of the world, reviewing new releases OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, SIDE EFFECTS, ROBOT AND FRANK and THE PAPERBOY. Plus we prepare for next week’s ARCTIC FILM FESTIVAL (in venues around Cambridge, so slightly warmer than you might expect) by talking to the filmmakers behind Inuit documentary Vanishing Point.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
