Bums on Seats: Hitchcock, This is 40, Watersprite

This week’s show has it all, suspense, romance, comedy, as well as a bit high adventure. Hitchcock takes a presumptive look behind the scenes of Psycho, I Give it a Year and This is 40 offer a wry look at both the first year of marriage and the ups and downs of a decade of loving and cherishing. And Disney’s Wreck It Ralph features a computer game character who up sticks and heads for the wild blue yonder. Plus we talk to the co-directors of Watersprite – The Cambridge International Student Film Festival, which kicks off in Cambridge on March 1st.

Gavin Midgley makes his debut as show host, alongside regular reviewers Emma Marchant, Dave Riley, Kevin Hilton and Mark Liversidge.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.

You can support Cambridge Radio by giving monthly or by making a one-off contribution.
