Today’s show paints the town red with in the company of the unlikeliest of heroes, looking at new releases Guardians of the Galaxy, Mississippi drama Joe, the newest Hercules and Michel Gondry’s bittersweet and flower filled romance Mood Indigo. Plus we have our first preview of the upcoming Cambridge Film Festival with the BFI’s Bryony Dixon previewing its rare screenings of Gerhard Lamprecht’s silent masterpieces. Toby Miller is host, alongside regular reviewers Dave Riley, Stef Smith, Mark Liversidge and Jack Toye.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
