Papworth cancer patient tells her story to Cambridge Breakfast

A leading University of Cambridge oncology doctor has been awarded a grant worth almost 195 thousand pounds. Breast Cancer Now is providing the funding to Dr Charlotte Coles to investigate whether treating women with radiotherapy and hormone therapy before surgery could help some patients avoid having extensive surgery such as mastectomies.

Jenny Jenyon from Papworth, was diagnosed with a 7cm tumor in 2014. She spoke to Julian Clover and Lucy Milazzo on Cambridge Breakfast.
