Cambridge Breakfast: Rewilding charity gives Cambridgeshire update

A Cambridgeshire charity that wants to rewild corridors of land in the UK by planting 10,000 native trees and hedges every year has announced its first brand Ambassador. Matty Horkan will work with Creating Nature’s Corridors founder, Vhari Russell, to raise awareness of the charity’s work and to identify potential new planting sites to progress the charity’s rewilding activity. Julian Clover spoke to Vhari about Matty and the charity’s work so far.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
