Cambridge Breakfast: Mayor’s Symphony of Giving for Parkinson’s UK

A special concert is taking place at The Guildhall on Sunday to raise funds for the Cambridge branch of Parkinson’s UK. A Symphony of Giving will feature Sections of the Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra, Cambridge choral ensemble Accorde, and students from Chesterton and Mayfield schools, performing a composition they’ve written as part of the CamPhil’s schools project. Mayor of Cambridge Councillor Jenny Gawthrope Wood told Julian Clover why she chose Parkinson’s UK as one of her two chosen charities and what to expect on Sunday.

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.
