Cambridge Breakfast: Syd Barrett documentary shown in Cambridge

He remains one of the iconic names of Cambridge. Roger (Syd) Barrett was a founding member of Pink Floyd. Pushed out of the band by his fellow members Barrett eventually dropped out of the music industry completely, living as a recluse for 30 years – while Pink Floyd went on to become one of the biggest-selling bands of all time. The story is captured in Have You Got it Yet? which is being screened at the Arts Picturehouse on Thursday. Julian speaks to director Roddy Bogawa, who made the film with the late Storm Thorgerson (Hipgnosis).
