Cambridge Breakfast: Croft Gardens dig

You may have seen the film The Dig that was recently released on Netflix. It explores the 1939 excavation at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk. Linda Ness and Suzie Thorpe were sitting in for Julian & Lucy on Breakfast this week and were joined by Cathie Pilkington from Albion Archaeology. She’s been working on a dig at Croft Gardens, just off Barton Road, Newnham, here in Cambridge.
