Cambridge United have launched a special-edition fourth shirt for Black History Month, created with the Fitzwilliam Museum and Romsey Mill.
The kit will debut against Bromley at the Cledara Abbey Stadium on Saturday 18 October at 12:30. Match-worn shirts will be signed and auctioned to raise money for Romsey Mill.
The design takes its cue from An Eighteenth Century Family by British-Nigerian artist Joy Labinjo, shown in the Fitzwilliam’s Rise Up: Resistance, Revolution, Abolition exhibition.
Julian Clover spoke to Romsey Mill’s Josh Parker about the organisation’s involvement in the project.
