Julian and Lucy find out about a board game that teaches young people about how to manage their finances is being rolled out to schools across Cambridge. ‘Reality Cheque Cambridge’ has been created for Cambridge City Council’s Children and Young People’s Participation Service. They speak to Cllr Anna Smith (Labour group), Executive Councillor for Communities and Paula Bishop, Children and Young People’s Participation Service Manager.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who listens to our shows, our podcasts, the businesses we feature, helps to pay for it, our future would be much more secure.
