More than 10 million litres of fat have been prevented from entering sewers across the East of England.
Anglian Water says that’s the equivalent of over 16 million blocks of butter, helping to reduce blockages and lower the risk of flooding and pollution.
The company says fats, oils and grease can quickly harden in pipes, causing serious damage to the sewer network.
