Cambridge Breakfast: Recycling laptops for those in need

Cambridge 2030, in partnership with Cambridge City Council, is calling on Cambridgeshire businesses, non-profit organisations and charities to recycle their laptops when they are upgraded or replaced, by donating them to the Digital Drive. Suitable donated devices will be refurbished and distributed to local schools for students to use at home and in the classroom. Julian Clover hears details from Alison Taylor.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community broadcaster for the city and South Cambridgeshire.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
