Wicken Fen fledges its first crane chick

The National Trust Nature Reserve at Wicken Fen has fledged its first crane chick. A pair began breeding on Wicken Fen in 2019, although their eggs have usually hatched, this year is the first time a chick has been successfully reared by the pair. Ajay Tegala works at the National Trust site and spoke to Julian Clover.
