A Community Group in the East of the City wants to restore a 13th Century Church that has been disused since Covid. The Church of St Andrew the Less is on Newmarket Road, close to the Elizabeth Way Roundabout, and was built by Barnwell Priory’s Augustinian Canons. Maria Cleminson is from the St Andrew the Less Community Project. She told Julian Clover on Cambridge Breakfast the group wants to bring the building back into use.
