Raspberry Pi calls for free code clubs in every school

New research reveals that 6 out of 10 parents think it’s important that children learn how to code, while more than half  believe coding should be a compulsory school subject through to GCSE.

Cambridge-based Raspberry Pi Foundation, is calling for a free Code Club in every school and library in the UK to ensure more young people can thrive in a digital future. CEO Philip Colligan spoke to Julian Clover on Tuesday’s Cambridge Breakfast.

Securing the future of Community Radio

Cambridge Radio is the Community broadcaster for Cambridge and South Cambs.

Our brief is to give a voice to those sometimes excluded from traditional media. And the presenters you hear on air are all volunteers themselves who give up their time for free. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
